Amahle wants to help!

Summary

Amahle Wants to Help! follows a determined little girl who tries again and again to join in with the grown-ups around her — squeezing toothpaste, feeding Mkhulu's chickens, watering Gogo's garden — only to be told she is too young. With each rejection, the frustration builds, but so does Amahle's persistence. The story captures that deeply familiar childhood feeling of wanting to be capable, and builds quietly toward a moment where Amahle finally finds something she can do entirely on her own terms.
