Tevin was a curious and adventurous little boy who loved to explore and learn new things. He was so excited to start his first day of preschool, but he was also a little bit nervous. He had never been to school before, and he wasn’t sure what to expect.
So, Tevin’s mom and dad decided to help him get ready by building a routine. They sat down with Tevin and made a list of all the things he needed to do to get ready for preschool.
First, they made sure Tevin had all the supplies he needed. They packed his backpack with a lunchbox, a water bottle, and a few of his favorite toys to play with during breaks. They also made sure he had a clean change of clothes in case he got dirty or wet during the day.
Next, they helped Tevin practice getting dressed on his own. They showed him how to put on his shoes, his jacket, and his hat. Tevin was a little wobbly at first, but with a little practice, he got the hang of it.
Then, they practiced their morning routine. They set an alarm for an earlier time so Tevin would have plenty of time to get ready in the morning. They practiced cleaning up his bedroom, getting dressed, and eating a healthy breakfast before they headed out the door.
On the first day of preschool, Tevin felt much more prepared. He knew exactly what to do, and he was excited to go to school and make new friends. His mom and dad walked him to school and gave him a big hug and a kiss before he went inside.
Tevin had a great first day of preschool. He made lots of new friends, played fun games, and learned a lot of new things. And at the end of the day, he couldn’t wait to tell his mom and dad all about his adventures.
Thanks to their routine, Tevin was able to start his first day of preschool feeling confident and ready to learn. And he knew that with a little bit of practice, he could do anything!
