Santa’s Reindeer

Once upon a time, in the magical land of the North Pole, lived a kind and jolly old man named Santa Claus. Santa was loved by children all around the world, and on Christmas Eve, he would fly around the world on his sleigh, pulled by his trusty reindeer.

But there was something very special about Santa’s reindeer. Unlike what most people think the reindeer are not male, but female! And there is a very good reason for this.

You see, male reindeer lose their antlers in the middle of December, after the fighting season is over. This means that they are unable to fly Santa’s sleigh during Christmas. The reason reindeer can fly Santa’s sleigh is because of the magic that’s in the antlers. Female reindeer keep their antlers all year round, so they are able to help Santa deliver presents to all the good boys and girls.

Santa’s female reindeer are very strong and fast, and they love flying through the night sky with Santa on his sleigh. They have special names, too. There is Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and of course, Rudolph, with her shiny red nose.

The children who receive presents from Santa always leave out carrots and cookies for the reindeer, to thank them for their hard work. And the reindeer are always be very happy to munch on the tasty treats, before flying off to the next house.

So that’s the story of how Santa’s reindeer are all female, and how they help him deliver presents to children all around the world on Christmas Eve. And every year, the female reindeer prove that they are just as strong and capable as the male reindeer, and that they are the true stars of Christmas.
